Q Studio is a small remote studio that builds web apps, SaaS products, dashboards and landing pages with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Supabase or Firebase. New web MVPs start at $1,500 (about 3 weeks), landing pages at $150 (about 3 days), and fixes or features on an existing React or Next.js codebase at $40. You get a working preview within 72 hours and own the repository and hosting from day one.
Teams look for a Next.js development agency for one of three reasons: they want a new product built on a modern React stack, they have an existing Next.js or React codebase that needs more hands, or they've inherited a project that isn't going well. We do all three, and they need different approaches, so this page covers each one.
We build with Next.js, React, TypeScript and Tailwind CSS on the front end, Supabase or Firebase (PostgreSQL) for data, and Vercel or other standard cloud hosting. The website you're reading runs on Next.js too.
Three ways to work with us
1. A new product, built from scratch
Web apps, SaaS products, client portals, internal dashboards and startup MVPs. You describe the problem; we return a written scope, fixed price and timeline within 24 hours, then show a working preview within 72 hours of starting.
| Package | What's included | Starts at | Typical time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Clickable prototype | The core flow, clickable, for testing and pitching | $500 | About 5 days |
| Web MVP | Sign-in, database, one core workflow, admin view | $1,500 | About 3 weeks |
| Bigger MVP | 2–3 workflows, user roles, payments integration, deployed | $3,000 | About 5–6 weeks |
| Landing page | One long-scroll page with your content | $150 | About 3 days |
| Landing page plus | Contact form, analytics, basic SEO | $250 | About 4 days |
| Bilingual landing page | English and Arabic versions, motion | $400 | About 6 days |
2. Extra hands on your existing codebase
You have a Next.js or React app and a backlog. We pick up well-defined tasks, work in your repository through pull requests, and follow your conventions rather than imposing ours.
| Task size | Starts at | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| One small bug or tweak | $40 | About 1 day |
| Up to 3 bugs or one small feature | $90 | About 2 days |
| Up to 6 bugs or one medium feature | $180 | About 3 days |
3. Taking over a project
The previous developer left, the build is half-finished, or every change breaks something else. We start with a quick code review and give you an honest view of what's worth keeping, what needs rework, and what the rest will cost. Sometimes the answer is "fix three things and carry on". Sometimes it's "rebuild this module". You get the reasoning in writing before you decide.
How we make Next.js decisions
Next.js gives you several ways to render a page, and picking the wrong one is behind many slow or expensive apps. Here's how we choose, in plain terms.
- Static pages for content that rarely changes: marketing pages, docs, blog posts. They load fastest and cost almost nothing to host.
- Server-rendered pages for content that must be fresh and visible to search engines, like listings or product pages.
- Client-side interactivity only where users actually interact: forms, dashboards, filters, live updates. Shipping less JavaScript to the browser keeps pages fast on mid-range phones.
- Server-side logic for anything sensitive. Payment calls, secret keys and permission checks run on the server, never in the browser.
We default to TypeScript everywhere, validate data at the edges (forms, APIs, webhooks), and keep secrets in environment variables on your hosting account. For data, Supabase gives you PostgreSQL with authentication and row-level security, which is a strong, low-cost base for most SaaS MVPs. When a product needs a separate backend, we also work with Node.js and Laravel.
What a healthy Next.js codebase looks like
Use this checklist on any React or Next.js project, whoever builds it.
- It builds cleanly from a fresh clone, with a short README on how to run it.
- Types are real. TypeScript without
anyscattered everywhere to silence errors. - Server and client code are separated deliberately, not by trial and error.
- Secrets aren't in the repository and aren't exposed to the browser.
- Database access is protected by rules or policies, not only by hiding buttons in the interface.
- Pages are fast on a phone. Images are optimized, fonts load properly, and Core Web Vitals are reasonable.
- Accounts are yours. The repository, Vercel (or other hosting) project, domain and database sit under your organization.
If your current project fails several of these, that's normal for an inherited codebase, and usually fixable without starting over.
Typical things we build with Next.js
- SaaS MVPs with sign-up, subscriptions or payments, a core workflow and an admin area.
- Business systems: CRMs, inventory, HR records, invoicing and internal dashboards with roles and permissions.
- Booking platforms for clinics, salons, tutors or tours; see booking app development.
- AI features such as a support assistant trained on your own documents, like the one on this site; see AI chatbot development.
- Landing pages and company sites that load fast and are ready for search, in English, Arabic or both.
Bilingual work deserves a note: Arabic layouts in React need logical CSS properties and careful handling of mixed-direction text. We're native Arabic speakers and do this routinely. If that's your main need, see Arabic and RTL localization.
Working together
- A free 20-minute call, then a written scope and fixed price, or a clear per-task price for ongoing fixes.
- Milestone payments for projects over $500 (usually 30% / 40% / 30%), each after you see it working.
- Pull requests with clear descriptions, previews on every branch where your hosting supports it, and short demos.
- Direct contact with the developers, in Cairo time, which overlaps a full working day with Europe and the Gulf and mornings in the Americas.
- An NDA before you share code or details, if you'd like one.
When we're the right fit, and when we're not
Good fit: startups building a first web product, companies with a React or Next.js app and a backlog, and anyone who inherited a codebase and needs a straight assessment.
Not the best fit:
- You need a full-time developer inside your team every day for months. A direct hire or staffing arrangement will serve you better than a project studio.
- Your marketing team wants to build and edit pages visually, daily, without a developer. A website builder may suit you better than a custom Next.js site.
- Your platform is built on a technology we don't list (we cover Next.js, React, TypeScript, Node.js, Laravel/PHP, Supabase, Firebase, PostgreSQL and MySQL). Ask us first; we'll say honestly if it's outside our lane.
- The product involves gambling, crypto or forex trading, interest-based lending, alcohol, adult content or dating, or military use. We don't take these.
FAQ
Do you work with the App Router or the Pages Router?
Both. New projects use the App Router. For existing Pages Router projects we usually keep the current structure and only migrate when there's a clear benefit, because a migration for its own sake costs money without helping users.
Can you join our existing team and follow our process?
Yes, for defined tasks. We work in your repository, follow your linting, branching and review rules, and submit pull requests your team can review. What we don't offer is a full-time embedded developer under daily management.
Will the site be good for SEO?
Every site we build is search-ready: fast, mobile-first, with clean structure, meta tags, sitemaps and analytics set up. We build; we don't run ads or manage social media, so ongoing content and promotion stay with you.
Where is the app hosted, and who pays?
Usually on Vercel or similar standard cloud hosting, set up in your name. You pay the provider directly; for most new projects that's little or nothing at the start, growing only with real traffic.
How fast can you start on a bug?
Small fixes usually take about a day once we have access. Send the repository details and a description of the issue; you'll get a fixed price before we begin.
How do I get a quote?
Describe the product, or share the repository and the backlog. A written scope and price arrive within 24 hours. For new products, the project planner gets you a brief quickly, and our MVP development page explains how we cut a first version down to size.
